Cal Poly Falls 81-52 to Princeton - Recap

The battle between Princeton and Cal Poly didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Cal Poly was handed a 81-52 defeat on Saturday at L. Stockwell Jadwin Gymnasium.

Princeton was a -15.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.

Cal Poly got a 8-point performance from Ridge Shipley, who was supported by 8 points from Donovan Fields. Ridge Shipley had 3 assists in a losing cause for Cal Poly, while Luke Meikle grabbed 7 rebounds.

Princeton was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Princeton had a 39-18 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Princeton heads into a battle against Pennsylvania. Cal Poly, meanwhile, will have their next action against UC Davis.
