The Blackhawks have been able to win three games in a row to tie the series at 3-games-to-3 and force today's pivotal Game 7. It has been a wild series and now it's a win or go home situation for both teams.

If there's a mental advantage in this one, it goes to the Blackhawks. The Kings must be frustrated at missing their opportunities to close the series over the past two games. Now they have to play Game 7 on the road.

While they can easily blame themselves, they can't control the ridiculous goaltending from their opponent, Corey Crawford. The Chicago goalie stopped 26-of-29 shots, including huge blocks in the final seconds of Game 6.

Another immediate reason for the Hawks road win on Friday was the performance from Patrick Kane. The clutch right winger assisted on the game tying goal and then banged in his fourth game winner of this playoffs to give the Blackhawks a 4-3 Game 6 victory. His heroics over the past two games are individually responsible for seven points.

Chicago doesn't have as much experience in Game 7s as the Kings but they know how to close a series. They know how to seal the deal; going back to 2009-10 they are 11-2 in potential series clinchers. With a win today, the Hawks can go down in history as the first team to overcome 3-1 series deficits in consecutive post seasons.

The Kings have also pulled off their own interesting team statistic. They are only the third team to ever need a Game 7 in each of its first three series, and the first team to have to play all three on the road.

The Blackhawks need to feel good about their momentum and home ice going into Game 7. They are only slight betting favorites, -147 on the money line compared to L.A. who is +134.
