Devils Rangers Betting – Devils Look To Rewrite History, Clinch Berth In Stanley Cup Finals
The New Jersey Devils failed to capitalize on their opportunity to put the New York Rangers away on home ice in game six of the Eastern conference finals. Now they head back to New York, and history isn’t on their side. In one of the most unique and ironic sets of circumstances in NHL playoff history, the outcome and date for every game in this series has matched exactly the way that the 1994 Eastern conference final played out, with the Rangers coming back in that one to win and advance to the Stanley Cup finals after Mark Messier scored a hat trick in the game seven that he guaranteed his team would win. There will be no online sports betting guarantee on either side this time around, but in the end the Devils have to be wondering if history is bound to repeat itself.

With Zac Parise set to become an unrestricted free agent, and Martin Brodeur getting up there in years, the Devils understand very well how crucial this series is for their franchise. Brodeur has looked solid if not spectacular in the playoffs, and if he can be brilliant for one more game it could be enough to get New Jersey back to the Stanley Cup finals. The Devils’ defense has played well in front of Brodeur all series, but if they are going to win this game the offensive scorers like Parise will need to find ways to put pucks past Lundqvist as they did in game five.

The only reason that the Rangers even got this far has been their incredible goaltending, and now Lundqvist will look to be the difference once again. Captain Ryan Callahan won’t guarantee a victory in this one, but the way that he has played so far it is clear that he will give everything it takes to get the win. Brad Richards is another proven clutch performer, and will have to make his presence felt on the score sheet to give New York a chance.

After working so hard to get this far, there is only room for one betting online team to advance to the Stanley Cup finals, and this time it’s the Devils’ turn to rewrite the history books.
