Calgary Flames Beat Panthers

At 19 years old, Sam Bennett became the third youngest player in the history of the NHL to score four goals in a single game when the Calgary Flames defeated the Panthers 6-0 last Wednesday night, making it his tenth goal so far this season. The hat trick in the first period by the teenager (another record as the youngest for the team to complete a hat trick) was a key factor in handing the Panthers their first loss in the last 14 games.

A player of this age hasn’t pulled this off since the 1981-1982 season. The Flames team itself hasn’t had a player score four goals in since February of 2003. Bennett was on fire from the start of his game. This was his first goal in 47 days and it was one for the record books. After the first goal he made only 56 seconds into the game, his next goal was also in the first period with 7:59 left on the clock. His fourth and final goal was made at the end of the game with a mere 25 seconds left in the game.

Kicking off five games on the road, the game against Edmonton on January 16, 2016 has various odds on different money lines but has each team at same odds.
