What to watch from the Los Angeles Clippers

The Clippers feel like they have blown two chances to close out the series. One could easily say that about Game 6 in LA Thursday, when they led by 19 points in the third period. They seemed to go away after that, and ended up on the short end of a 119-107 score. Spells like that will give them the rest of the season off. And they can’t continue to rely solely on Blake Griffin, Chris Paul and J.J. Redick, who have been carrying the load.

What to watch from the Houston Rockets

While the Clippers’ bench has be relatively unproductive, the Rockets’ substitutes have made an impression. Six players have scored in double figures for Houston in the last two games, with Terrence Jones and Corey Brewer contributing from the bench. With all-stars James Harden and Dwight Howard leading the way, the Rockets have been a fearsome force.
