Kentucky is three games behind Florida overall and just one lost behind in the conference, but somehow all people talk about is how good the Gators are.  The Wildcats seem to be sick of this, so you might expect a gigantic game on Tuesday night.

Kentucky has faced only three ranked teams all season with two losses over Duke and Louisville, and a win over Ole Miss. The Wildcats have won five straight games, and seven of their last eight, including a 72-62 victory over Auburn on Saturday.

Kyle Wiltjer's 14 points led five Kentucky players in double figures against the Tigers, but it has been freshmen Archie Goodwin and Alex Poythress the one who had carried most of the load for this team all season.

Florida, on the other hand, shook off the loss against Arkansas with a tremendous beating over Mississippi State (83-58), also on Saturday.  Mike Rosario scored 18 points and Erick Murphy added 17.

Murphy left the game with a sprained ankle, but according to coach Billy Donovan he’s fine and will be against Kentucky.  However, Murphy's rib injury against Air Force that kept him out of the clash against Yale wasn't announced to the public until the day of the game; so expect anything on Tuesday morning.

In the college basketball betting trends, Kentucky has won eight of the last 10 meetings against Florida, including last year’s 74-71 victory by the Wildcats. Three of the last four against the spread result were covered by Kentucky, although the last one was a Gator ATS win as the Wildcats were nine point favorites.
